Thank you for downloading the SONIC the Hedgehog CD<TM> Preview.

This preview is Windows95 native. To play it, you need DirectX 
installed on your hard-drive.

Before you install this preview, please take the time to read 
through this document.

1) Installing DirectX:

This preview does not contain DirectX.  We did not include it
because we wanted to keep the preview small enough to download
from the Internet.  Before you install this Preview, you must 
have a current version of DirectX installed on your hard-drive.

You can get the most current version of DirectX from the Microsoft 
Homepage or from us at Sega.  Please find the addresses below.

2) Installing the SONIC the Hedgehog CD Preview

After you unzip sample verson, find the "scdsetup" 
folder. Within this folder, please find the 
"setup.exe" file.

After you click "setup.exe", the installation 
process will begin. Please follow the install
prompt instructions.

After the installation is complete, press the 
"PLAY" button if Autorun is available, or click 
the SONIC the Hedgehog CD icon if not.

3) Controls:

You are SONIC. SONIC the Hedgehog, the most famous
and the fastest hedgehog in the world!
Dr. Robotnik, an evil but gifted mad scientist plans a
trick on "the little planet" and he is searching the 
"time stones," which are the source of ultimate power!
Someone must stop him!  But who?  
Yes, SONIC, it's you. Time for Sonic Boom!

After the title screen appears, press space bar to start.

Move SONIC --->  Arrow key
Jump attack---> Space bar (SONIC can attack enemy with jump.)

F1--- > Help file

Alt+R--- > Restart Game

Alt+F2---> Restart Stage
* You can restart stage again, but you lost one SONIC.

F3--- > Pause/Resume Game

F4--- > Full Screen/ Window Screen

Alt+F4---> Exit Game

F5---> Menu Bar ON / OFF

F6---> Smooth Sonic / Fast Sonic

F7---> Change Controls

F8--- > Use Joystick / Use Keyboard
